How The Long Road handles account and activity data.
What is collected
Cloudflare Access supplies your verified Google email address. If you connect Strava, the app collects your Strava profile name, encrypted access tokens, and activity summaries from your chosen start date.
How it is used
The data moves your own traveller, lists your recent activities, and writes a local rule-based daily passage. It is not shown to another traveller, sold, used for advertising, or sent to an AI provider.
Storage and deletion
Account and journey data is stored in Cloudflare D1. Strava activity summaries are refreshed as a cache and deleted before they are seven days old. Tokens are encrypted at rest. Use Delete my journey in Settings to withdraw Strava access and delete the account data held by The Long Road.
Access and support
You can review the collected activity summaries on the Activities page. For a data export or support, contact Liam through the same channel that carried your invitation.
Strava may monitor API usage as described in its own policies. The Long Road is an unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with Strava or the rights holders of Middle-earth.
